Question - Вопрос. Answer - Ответ. OD - тот,у кого есть связи со студией,и тот кто отвечает на вопросы.
Примечание: OD has ties within Studio Pierrot or some other party that's involved with Boruto anime production.
Question #1:Isn’t it dangerous to be that close to the studio and be supplying the boruto manga?
Answer:
The staff or those closely involved with them do know who I am and don’t mind divulging info to me - Just in the condition that I don’t announce it publically or leak messages that would identify them as the source. Mutual trust since like 2010+, because I’d find out one way or another.
So there were many times where they told me something and asked me not to leak it. Once I receive an early PR or purchase a magazine that contains the info ahead of public disclosure from a different source, it’s fair game for me. In that case, I send proof and notice that I’m going to post it - Just so there’s no miscommunication that I particularly leaked their info until I personally owned it.
I did get in trouble for posting OP screencaps though. Since then I don’t leak footage at their request.
Actually, the staff know about manga content in its planning manuscript form. They know about chapters even further in advance than anyone can reasonably attempt to purchase it.
Notably for Naruto 699/700, the staff knew even two weeks in advance what the ending was. They got to read both chapters entirely before it was even done printing and shipped.
Question #2:Like, how more many chapters do they know the events of than us?
Answer:
Hmm, I don’t think it is appropriate for me to answer this directly about Boruto and Studio Pierrot. But I can give general outline from my experience with other studios.
For example, the core staff of Studio XYZ that is adapting a manga publishing in a weekly magazine are likely to know three or four chapters of material in advance. Outsource studio or freelancer may/may not know the details - Depends if they’re interested to know or if a scene needs to be done a certain way to accommodate plot twist or later reveal.
Another example would be Studio ABC who works on the anime adaptation of a monthly manga serialization - but broadcast is scheduled to one/two cour seasonal - have access to next month’s upcoming chapter at a minimum to prepare for later episodes. Even if they are quite behind the manga in the storytelling, they are always informed of what’s to come.
Question #3:Do they know what anime arcs will happen through the year or is it more so plan one arc and have a rough idea of the next?
Answer:
By the time episode titles and synopsis are published in magazines, those episodes have already been in production and planned months in advance.
