Lille says: What!? What is this sword!? That sword is quite vulgar for something so bright. Then, the sword shines towards Lille (refer to the third spoiler picture).
Lille says: I can hardly see the blade of the sword with such a dazzling light. What an eyesore it is.
Nanao retorts: Is that so? I'm glad. Lille is confounded.
Nanao goes on to explain: this sword has faced Gods. And when the eyes of a God have been reflected by the light of this sword, they will be shot down with your own godly power.
Lille says: I have no idea what you're talking about. Nanao then rushes towards Lille.
QUE FLASH BACK
Unknown person: Why is it so important she can't receive it? There is a person, Nanao, listening from the shadows (refer to the second spoiler picture).
Nanao's Mother: This thing only affects the Ise family and therefore not you. And by having this, misfortune will not befall you. I am relying on you, an outsider of the Ise clan, please, take it, I beg you.
The figure behind Nanao, is the Academy President that came to greet Nanao and her mother, Kyoraku. Nanao thinking to herself: the first thing I noticed was those hair pins.
It is explained that a Reijutsu was GIVEN to the Ise family From the distance Nanao can see the man wearing a womanly Kimono, the pattern on it it was very common back in those days she thinks her mother even has one.
But it was those hairpins, those hairpins which were unlike anything her mother had
Nanao thinking to herself: Soon enough, her mother brought her before a strange elderly couple. We have never seen these two people before. But they loved Nanao like a real daughter.
It was also because of this Reijutsu that Nanao was unable to take on a Zanpakuto. Nanao further explains that she was recognised for her talent in Kido and because of her skill she was allowed to take on the academy tests earlier than most. Nanao goes on to explain how she never had a Zanpakuto, but her Kido was more than enough to enlist her into a squad.
She questions why the 8th Squad of all Squads though....

This is the second Task of God: without negligence (I think this is some ability or something, I really need an image to actually know what is happening...)
Shunsui: I thought you wanted to blame me.
QUE SECOND FLASH BACK
Ukitake: It seems one of the sacred treasures was stolen. Central 46 found out and they held an execution yesterday. Shunsui: ... Ukitake: I am sorry to tell you this. Shunsui: Don't worry. Thank you for telling me though.
Shunsui thinking to himself: When my brother passed away, he gave me the hairpins.
BACK TO THE PRESENT
